Singer..,

Almost every little kid wants to become a famous singer at some point in their life, but few people actually keep that dream into adulthood. Becoming a singer, you see, is not easy. It requires the right combination of talent, look, and connections, as well as a good bit of luck, and there is more than one way to do it.

A lot of people choose to become a singer by simply writing and performing songs. Playing in a band does get you a lot of experience learning what people like to hear. When you're in a club,It can be really difficult to get people's attention. Finding out what songs really grab an audience is one of the best ways to become a singer – or any kind of musician for that matter.

Of course, formal schooling can really help you to become a singer. Most people look at becoming a musician as some kind of fairytale dream, but it is an industry and it requires skills. For every completely industry produced talentless pop star who gets by on looks and connections, there are probably a thousand more people making a living in music through hard work and solid skills. The more training you have, the better you will be. Learning an instrument can also be helpful. Not only can it help you to pay the bills, but it will also enhance your understanding of songwriting. It will allow you to make a living doing the club circuit even if you aren't able to get signed for a multimillion dollar contract.

Then again, a talent agent can help you become a singer. This is the approach most favored by people who are into performing arts in general. People with some skills in acting, modeling, singing, and dancing often place the performance aspect above the music. If you are young, attractive, and able to entertain a crowd, you might have all the skills you need to get a good agent. Pay attention to open casting calls, and don't be afraid to take bit parts. Even becoming a backup singer can be the first step on the road to a lucrative musical career.  Just don't count on making it on your looks alone. It always makes sense to build your skills, especially since you will only be in your 20s for so long. A musical career can last a lifetime, but you have to learn quite a bit about music.
